Athens Music Week
Athens Music Week (AMW) is a four-day international music conference and showcase festival held every June in Athens, Greece. Organized by the nonprofit MESO Events, AMW brings together artists, professionals, entrepreneurs and cultural operators from across Southeast Europe, the Mediterranean and beyond, creating space for music to drive innovation, dialogue and new opportunities.
With the motto “Connecting cultures, inspiring innovation”, AMW blends a forward-looking conference with curated showcases and citywide activations. The program hosts over 400 delegates and 2,000 visitors annually, featuring panels, talks, networking sessions, workshops and live performances in iconic venues. Its focus is on helping emerging professionals access international markets while encouraging exchange between scenes, sectors and generations.
More than a festival, AMW is a strategic platform for international cooperation, talent mobility and ecosystem growth. It supports MESO’s broader mission to strengthen the creative economy, reverse brain drain and promote sustainable careers in music and culture. By building meaningful connections between music, technology and entrepreneurship, AMW contributes to a more resilient, inclusive and forward-looking cultural landscape in Greece and the wider region.
