AFRICA RISING MUSIC CONFERENCE

The Africa Rising Music Conference is a female and queer- led conference taking place every year in May in Johannesburg, South Africa. The conference unfolds through two vibrant programs: “ARMC by Day” comprises enlightening keynote speeches, thought-provoking panel discussions, and immersive workshops, while “ARMC by Night” comes alive with electrifying artist performances. 

In ARMC’s most recent edition, its primary focus revolved around Building Bridges, seeking to unite diverse musical narratives, Amplifying Female Voices to shine a spotlight on the formidable influence of women in music, and Fostering Independence while Driving Innovation to empower artists and creators in navigating the ever-evolving music landscape.
